Facility Maintenance/Groundskeeper

Job Description

The Facility Maintenance/Groundskeeper is responsible for the up-keep of the building and dealership property. Using carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and painting knowledge to fix issues as they arise, as well as daily maintenance duties. Utilizing tools associated with the job, they take care of the facility buildings and surrounding land.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain dealership buildings and surrounding land
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks as necessary
• Keep track of all tools
• Check HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Coordinate deliveries from vendors and suppliers
• Work with outside vendors and suppliers as necessary to maintain premises
• Perform landscaping and pest control
• Perform maintenance on service equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED required.  The position requires physical strength to lift and move equipment as well ass stamina to deal with long hours standing or walking.  Strong communication skills for discussing maintenance issues and administrative skills for handling records and scheduling maintenance also required.
